The hot weather here in the Bay Area has me reaching for all things light, cute, and downright flirty! Let me tell you - this floral maxi dress from The Pink Lily Boutique fits the bill and I cannot get enough! We’re still under shelter-in-place order, so I wore it recently to a small family backyard birthday dinner, but I cannot wait to take this baby wine tasting, wear it to a girls brunch, or don it for a dressy date night(coughcough Aaron!).
This dress is called the“Garden of Daydreams” Maxi Dress and it truly is appropriately named! First of all, the fit of the dress is SO flattering. I have a fairly pear-shaped body, which makes dress shopping, in a word, interesting.(LOL!).I love how this dress flatters your upper body, then cascades down and has shape without being too tight, ending with a tasteful side slit. I typically wear a 4 or 6 in dresses, and a small worked for me with this dress. This California weather is already nearing the 80’s, so the light material is a MUST. The beautiful floral and leaves pattern is gorgeous, and the ruffle off-the-shoulder sleeves are my favorite flirty element of the dress! ! A maxi dress is one of those clothing items that you can throw on and dress up or down no matter the occasion, and they’re just plain comfortable.
